The Profender 4×4 OEM performance 2.0 Strut is a high performance bolt in solution for your strut front 4×4.
Based around the Profender 2.0 mono tube smoothie shock with a treaded body for fine tuning of the spring preload & ride height , supplied with a machined billet alloy strut top, preload adjuster and lower strut leg finished in stunning blue hard anodizing that compliments the hard chromed body and piston rod.
The coil comes fitted to the strut to ease installation, this coil is suited to vehicles with light weight accessories (e.g. alloy bar and no winch), and heavier coils will be made available soon.
The specs of the OEM performance struts are comparable with any other 2.0 OEM/Factory Performance series strut with a 46mm high flow piston and a 20mm hard chromed piston rod.
Preload adjustment is locked in place with a pinch bolt style set up ensuring that once the preload is set, it will stay that way until you change it again.
The OEM Performance Struts use high quality spherical bushings suited to each specific application provide long service life and smooth operation.
When comparing the price of the Profender OEM Struts to any off the shelf preassembled or unassembled aftermarket struts the OEM struts still come out in front, Buying all the required parts and struts to complete the installation prices can easily exceed $1000 and you may still need specialised equipment to assemble the strut prior to installation.
Profender OEM Struts use the easily available 2.0 coilover coils, for a more compact coil, giving more clearance for the upper Control Arms.
